Incredibly disappointing for such an on-the-face-of-it innovative company.

The first round is a screening where, in theory, they explain the whole process and get to know you a bit better before asking some basic screening questions.

The interviewer I got was hands-down the worst I’ve ever had. He was completely disinterested in me as a person and rushed through a slideshow on the process as a whole. I had to ask him to bring it back to even see the information, which seemed to annoy him.

We then whipped through some general tech questions, which was extremely awkward as he was not technical in any way. You just had to say the answer he had written down on his notes.

This was already extremely off-putting, and I had no intention of continuing the process from this initial point because of it.
