RJ cares a lot about people. I was surprised to run into him in the kitchen a couple months after I started. Not only did he stop to say hello, he knew my name and where I'd come from. Then he offered me half of the peanut butter sandwich he'd just made on his way to his meeting.
That never happened at the last OEM I worked for. The bar is high here and the opportunities are endless for those who are up for the challenge. The software interview process starts with a phone screening with a recruiter. They will go over the basic logistics of the job and the interview process. Next will likely be a 30-minute call with the hiring manager to get an idea of the day-to-day
Straightforward Rivian interview: * One simple DSA question about clock hands. * Resume-driven discussion, focused on past projects, impact, and collaboration. No brainteasers; conversational vibe. Feedback and next steps provided within days.
They were standard questions, but the interviewer was very hard to understand. This made the interview process more difficult. Overall, it was an okay interview, though.
