Process

I went through three interviews.

The first one was a regular conversation with the hiring manager. The second was a 30-minute test on crafting a UI. The final one was a "homework" type task, where I received a craft and a design challenge to complete and present to a panel about a week later.

The whole interview process was extremely enjoyable. In addition to everyone being super nice, it was actually the most "useful" interview I have ever had. Instead of working on some algorithm and data structure problems you will probably never use in your daily work (not saying these are bad, though; these questions do help in understanding thinking and problem-solving skills), the tasks themselves were like what we do in daily work. The "homework" style helped a lot in easing nervousness during the interview. And with the seven-person panel watching my presentation, it made me feel, "This is an important role that is worth the hard work."

This was one of the most exciting, enjoyable, and least nerve-wracking interviews I have ever had.
