The interview process has 4 to 5 rounds:
Prescreening Round:
Q1: Why do you want to join Salesforce? Q2: What are your key skills and experience? Q3: What is your expected salary?
First Round: This was a very good experience. The hiring manager sounded very positive, was smiling, and seemed to expect a positive reply. He explained the role in depth and spoke about the responsibilities at a high level.
Q1: Why have you been using Python for 10 years?
Second Round: Online test.
Third Round: There was a panel of 3-4 members who were experts in different areas. They aimed to see what you know in depth. The main focus was on how you handle conflict, situations, and problem management. They all possessed high and rich knowledge in their respective domains.
Q1: Explain the Git processes you have seen so far, and tell me which one is best and why. Q2: What models/functions does Django touch when a user clicks a page/URL?
Fourth Round: This was a managerial round with more questions on management, conflict, and problem-solving. The panel consisted of very senior people. They were very cool, and although I was a bit nervous at the start, I became comfortable later. I don't know how 1.5 hours passed.
Few questions: Q1: What will you do if someone is not listening or not coding as per quality standards?
Fifth Round: This was the final round, taken by someone very senior at a technical or architect level. He asked both technical and managerial questions. He gave a problem and asked for the solution and test cases.
