Where to begin? Ok. The recruitment process was absolutely amazing. I was set up to speak with the hiring manager via Hangouts, followed by a nice chat and a straightforward coding exercise. The next step involved a 2.5-hour coding session with two engineers. It was fun, creative, practical, and thorough, not to mention challenging. The engineers were professional and allowed for a productive session where we exchanged dialogue freely.
The next step was an intense, day-long interview where I met many of the team. I was greeted by a recruiter (professional), got settled in, and met with individuals one-on-one. It was a smart and energetic bunch of engineers. Everyone shared a common message: putting the end user and customers first.
What further impressed me in this group were the leaders. I loved that they valued not only technical capabilities but also personality. I can't stress this enough, especially as someone who has witnessed stereotypical "culture" turn out to resemble a frat more than anything else in this new age of tech and software.
I could not have been more pleased with my experience. This was a truly thought-out and professional interview format. The recruiter was really on top of things and communicated effectively.
