Process
As a Technologist and People Manager, I found the Salesforce Interviewing Process to be extremely incompetent. They demand a lot of time slots for interviews. Simply speaking, they cannot identify the right candidate with one or two interviews.
- 1 Round with Hiring Manager
- 2 Rounds with Onsite Senior Leadership
- 2 Rounds with Offshore Leadership
They are so confused, by virtue of which they will find a senior candidate's fitment for a role after so many discussions. It shows how incompetent they are.
The worst part is, although they offer free lunch in their cafeteria, there would be loads of questions while we are having lunch.
My advice is not to fall into the trap of office ambiance and a show-off culture with false, deceptive smiles. It takes at least 5 more years for them to become mature.
Finally, they lack transparency and clarity in hiring prospective leaders.
