Process is simple.

1. Two to three rounds of technical interviews. This is dependent on the team that hires you.
2. All the rounds are technical interviews.
3. The last round may happen with the manager.
4. The HR interview is just for its sake; they do not have any say in the recruitment process.
5. Once the manager and the team find you suitable, you are offered.
6. HR only negotiates with you about the final salary.
7. Sometimes, I have seen that managers also try to coalesce you to join.
8. A director may also join the interview and just like to have a chat with you, in case the appointment is for higher posts.
