The process took 1.5 months. There were 4 interviews:
All interviews (except the test) featured behavioral and technical questions. There were 2 homework tasks.
The process was not pleasant. The questions focused on core Java architecture, multithreading, and recursion. The only relevant part of the interview was the one with the team.
One negative aspect during the interview was a question about optimizing an application for high load usage. After several suggestions, the architect asked for something specific. I responded, "If that still doesn't work, I will search for the matter to find a solution." The architect's reply was, "Yeah, we all know how to search on Google..."
Declined the offer because the offered position was extremely low in the hierarchy, and the payment was also not good.
There was no room for negotiation.
How is the memory in Java sectioned? How can you create a deadlock? What is the Java thread lock? What is Dijkstra? How many locks are there in a database?
