Pros

Pros heavily depend on your team culture and sub-organization. AIS/IMS gives you an overall picture of SAP products and is more customer-centric. However, the growth rate is very slow. The hikes are average and not aggressive. Team lead culture and work/life balance heavily depend on your team. But in general, the team lead (thankfully not in my team) plays a major role in progression. I'm not a big fan.

Cons

If you are stuck in a team with team lead culture, things can go substantially slow for you, and you might be stuck in a box.

Advice to Management

Be more aggressive. Applicable to only my team.
