I applied via LinkedIn and was asked to attend a phone interview. A few questions were asked about my work experience, why I was looking for a change, how I would describe the ServiceNow business, and so on. It went well, and I was asked to do a technical test. I wrote some Selenium tests to test features of a website they deliver as part of the assignment. This was also good enough to proceed to the next level.
This was a three-hour interview where I met four different people. It wasn't too technical but more of a "get to know each other" session. Before leaving, I asked when I would hear back and was told it would be a week. It has been four months now, not a word. Even if it was a "no," I would like for them to have the decency to say so. Either way, it left a bad impression.
What language would you develop test scripts in, if it was a free choice?
