I applied online and then had a phone screen that involved online coding and some database-related questions.
I was invited for an onsite interview. The technical part went well, but I struggled during the hiring manager round, where many behavioral questions were asked. I didn't perform well enough to please him.
At the end of that round, he mentioned that the director, who was supposed to be the final interviewer, had a schedule conflict and couldn't meet that day. He suggested we might find another time to talk.
I immediately knew I had failed. As expected, the director's call was never rescheduled, and the recruiter never reached back out, not even with a rejection email or call.
My overall impression is that some interviewers were unprofessional and did not treat candidates with respect. I can easily infer this reflects how they treat their co-workers or team members.
