Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Poland
Process
The process was mentioned a few times already:
- Initial screening with short live coding
- Life story interview (1 hour long, a little bit unstructured and messy in my opinion)
- Followed by more tech steps: more live coding and a design call.
Overall, I had a pretty good experience; all the folks were friendly and professional. You have to keep in mind it might not be the case for you. I referred a few friends, and they got terrible feedback. It depends on whom you will be talking to; it seems I was simply lucky.
The process is lengthy (it took me two months in total) due to time zone differences and the amount of steps. I had like six or more calls in total, not counting back-and-forth emails.
In the end, I got the offer, just to be terminated six months later due to a legal reorganization in my region (I'm from EMEA), but that's a different story :).
