I was internally referred by someone I had worked with for over four years previously.
The initial "weed out" coding screen went fine, and we had a pleasant chat. Next was the "Life Story," and that too seemed to go fine.
Next thing I know, I'm being passed over. My inside contact wasn't consulted, nor were three other people I had mentioned having worked with in the past who could vouch for me.
I asked for details and was given none. My internal contact, a manager, also asked for details and was not provided with any information.
I'm leaving this review:
I can guarantee that at least one other candidate had the same recruiter as I did and was passed over in a very similar fashion. It's definitely not an isolated occurrence.
