The first email I received from them was a one-liner: "Hi xx, I haven't managed to get a hold of you!!?" I immediately reported the email. Such unprofessionalism is pretty extreme.

Eventually, I did get an interview, which was held on a public holiday in the country I reside in. It is not a big deal, but it shows how absent-minded the organizer for the interview was.

It was a phone interview with HR to gauge my interest, followed by two interviewers:

• One being the lead for the region
• Another being the role's reporting manager.
