Had an extremely unpleasant experience interviewing for the 1st tech round. The interviewer was in a bad mood and had already made up her mind that if someone hasn’t built a data warehouse or doesn’t read from multiple data sources, then they are not a DE. In larger enterprises, the data warehouse is already built, and people do ETLs or data pipelines on top of it. This was followed by a SQL and a Python question, which were easy, but the interviewer had already made up her mind and was asking the coding question just for the sake of it and wasn’t even interested in the answers.
