Process

A recruiter reached out via LinkedIn. He was awesome, super informative, and easy to talk to.

The first and second interviews were phone interviews.

  • The first was more behavioral, related to work.
  • The second was also behavioral but more technical, using an example about a valve inspection process and rectifying an issue.

The third interview was on-site and required a 30-minute presentation on a technical accomplishment to a board, followed by six individual interviews lasting an hour each. Lunch was provided.

The questions were easy, and the groups were not hard to talk to. I left feeling good about the interview.

Two days later, I received a generic email stating I didn't get the job, with no explanation. No sweat off my back, I already have a job.
