I applied to several positions online. A recruiter reached out several weeks later about a different position. The positions listed online were unrelated to what they were actually hiring for.
I spoke with the recruiter on the phone, took an at-home technical test several days later, and had a phone interview with an engineer the next week. The next step would have been an on-site interview, but at this point, I was ghosted.
I fumbled some basic questions in the phone interview, so I understand why they wouldn't want to hire me, but it was disappointing to be ghosted.
Overall, the workplace vibes seemed very bro-y, not particularly smart, and unprofessional. 0/10, would not recommend.
