I was contacted by an agent and offered either a Skype or in-person interview. The in-person interview was scheduled for two days later.

The interview was very relaxed, and I was asked several questions to see how I would go about resolving an issue.

I received a callback within two hours offering me the position.

Pros: Excellent and flexible work environment. Got a great work-life balance. Top-level management is focused and is working hard to push the boundaries. Highly technical people around to inspire you.

Cons: As in any fast-moving company, new changes are always around the corner, where some work and some don't. At times, mid-management doesn't have a clear vision, which causes a lot of confusion and uncertainty. Still very much a US-centric company.

Pros: Excellent and flexible work environment. Got a great work-life balance. Top-level management is focused and is working hard to push the boundaries. Highly technical people around to inspire you.

Cons: As in any fast-moving company, new changes are always around the corner, where some work and some don't. At times, mid-management doesn't have a clear vision, which causes a lot of confusion and uncertainty. Still very much a US-centric company.

Growth With Acquisition Uncertainty

Cons: Uncertainty with the acquisition. The CEO recently left, as well as the Chief Product Officer, which affects morale and causes constant change of teams. Some products do overlap, and it creates uncertainty with customers who have been told to build Cisco products pre-acquisition and are now asked to buy Splunk products post-acquisition.
