Process

The hiring process was a really good experience. The process, communication, and interviews were pleasant, and I never felt uncomfortable.

Trip arrangements to Stockholm were also executed flawlessly. They even rescheduled one due to a private issue, which I really appreciated.

The only unnecessary aspect was two culture fit interviews that could have been merged into one.

Interviews:

  • Standard HR
  • First technical: Quick, simple Android questions followed by computer science basics. A 30-minute live Android coding test, and then reviewing buggy/badly written Android code.
  • Culture Fit: Behavioral questions.
  • On-Site System Design: A much better version of 'Whiteboard Algorithm' interviews, where you discuss real-world features and create your optimal system.
  • On-Site Culture Fit: Same as the previous one, but with different people.
  • On-Site Show & Tell: You present your personal project, explain the architecture, and most importantly, make sure you write tests.
