A brief 15-minute call with a technical recruiter, asking about your background and why you want to work at Spotify.
Round 2:
A virtual interview where you are asked JS/Domain questions (finding the order of how console logs will be printed based on timeouts and functions, etc.; what is CSS Specificity?) and then a LeetCode question.
Round 3 (Onsite):
4 hours in total:
All the interviewers were very friendly people.
I did well in domain, solved the LeetCode portion, and connected well with the hiring manager. My systems design was iffy. After a week, I received an email from the recruiter that they went with another candidate.
The recruiter wasn't very good at keeping communication throughout the interviews. They would constantly email but without response. I asked for feedback after being rejected and was ghosted.
LeetCode: JS domain questions.
