I interviewed with a senior engineer. I was asked to use an online IDE to solve a question that was in multiple parts. The last 5 minutes were reserved for questions. The interviewer was knowledgeable and kind.

Pros: Pay, benefits (though they’ve been nerfed recently), remote flexibility, interesting and challenging work, and high potential for impact. I do adore most of my peers, and they teach me a lot. I’m better because of the quality of other Stripes.
Cons: Priorities do seem to change a lot. Politics can be a bit annoying from the exec and MoMs. On-call rotations can be annoying. All the drama around liquidity events and when I'll be able to sell stock, etc., etc., is less than desirable.
Hate the performance review process, but I don't know of a solution.

Pros: Delivery is fast, as a startup, although it is quite large now.
Cons: Bad work-life balance, for sure.

Pros: It's a really nice place with really smart people. Stripe is going to be great, so it's like being within a future giant.
Cons: Canadian offices while I worked were not that strong in terms of variety of teams to work from.
