The first call with the recruiter was nice and professional. Then, I scheduled a coding session with an engineer. The problem description was really long and confusing. I made the mistake of asking the engineer to help me understand the problem.
He became rude and started to ask me to read line x, line y, then line z. I felt he tried to show me he knew better than me or was trying to make me feel stupid.
After he wasted my 35 minutes jumping around and making no sense whatsoever, I solved the problem in about ten minutes (though I didn't have time to run the last part). It was such a negative session.
Simple if/else conditions and parsing problems with multiple parts.
