Favouritism and crazy politics

Pros: Good pay is what I thought, but until we go IPO, I doubt the stock is that valuable to me, as I left a public company to join Stripe.
Cons: Very high on manager favoritism. If you are not your manager's favorite, you are out, even though you add a lot of value. There are many people who don't add any value in the GTM org. Definitely needs layoffs on this team. Maybe evaluate these managers and their teams.
Middle managers run the show here.
Amazon-kind of crazy politics. Managers take credit for employees' work. Actually, most of them are from Amazon and just talk about the bad culture they bring along.

People here are smart and genuinely care.
Upbeat Slack culture.
Very good compensation as a Canadian.
Exciting and engaging work.
Cons: Growing really quickly, be prepared to step up and help your team and org scale.
