Cons: Bad experience working at Target. Overworked managers are required to "develop" their team while giving out measly $0.20 raises to workers who spend 15 years on the job.

Pros: Great atmosphere to work in.

Cons: Very fast turnover rates for the team.

Pros: Target has a great team culture surrounding being fast, fun, and friendly. There is a huge culture focused on giving each other recognition for the work they do. The leadership takes a lot of time to work on both your personal and leadership development. You become a key carrier to a $35+ million business which comes with a lot of responsibility and business ownership! Starting off, you get very competitive pay and 3 weeks vacation plus personal days off.

Cons: You'll work a 50-60 hour week, which can be very variable during the holidays. You, for the most part, can't take any vacation from November to the first week in January due to Target's peak business times. If you're looking for a consistent 9-5 job, Target is not for you! You'll work every other weekend with one day off during each week. You will likely work an overnight shift here and there, too. Most leaders will always work with you on days you need off if you let them know ahead of time. The job can be extremely stressful and overwhelming, but as long as you take partners and constantly ask questions, it's a fun ride!
