Process

I briefly spoke with some recruiters at my college's career fair. They offered me an interview after a couple of minutes of looking over my resume. The next night, all of the candidates and I were invited out to dinner at a local restaurant by two of the interviewers. The recruiters emphasized that the dinner was a casual environment and encouraged us to ask as many questions as we wanted to. A couple of days later, I was interviewed for about 45 minutes by one of the recruiters. She went over my resume and asked a few technical questions. Afterwards, she told me they would get back to me within a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, it took closer to two months before they responded to me. I contacted them a couple of times, and each time was told the process had been delayed but they would have an answer for me soon. After my third inquiry, I got an email the next day telling me I hadn't gotten the job. I had checked in regularly with my friend who applied at the same time as me, and he reported the same experience.
