A multiple-step process which took approximately 3 months.

• Contacted on LinkedIn, followed by a 30-minute video meeting with a Tesla recruiter.
• Participated in an online LeetCode and reasoning exercise with a 1-hour time limit.
• Attended a remote review of the exercise with the team lead, lasting 1 hour.
• Had six 40-minute interviews with multiple team members, totaling approximately 6 hours.
• Tesla HR informed me I was the correct fit and they would seek final approval from Elon Musk. This was stated as a mere formality, after which I never heard from her again.
• After another month and a couple of follow-ups, I reconnected with the team lead on LinkedIn, who confirmed they were no longer hiring for the role.

This was a negative experience due to the very long and redundant process, as well as the HR ghosting at the final step.
