Pros

Good work-life balance with good vacation hours. Opportunities for a steady job and decent professional growth. Resourceful, with a good layoff package.

Cons

Benefits are dwindling. Engineers are susceptible to bad decisions made by management, who are retained and allowed to further make bad mistakes.

Advice to Management

Don't give a good performance review coupled with a modest raise. Make mid-level management accountable. Avoid extreme, blatant favoritism to the fairer sex.
