The OrangeWorks internship in Midtown Atlanta is a great opportunity for a student's first or second internship. Working here is a pleasure, with many opportunities to grow and learn. I worked during the fall semester, and they provided a good balance between work and a full-time student schedule.
The given project can really change the internship experience.
The first interview was a phone interview with the recruiter. The second interview had two group activities: the first was to put scrambled code in order, and the other was to design a class.
Code challenge and conversation. I spoke to the interviewer in person about my experiences. I did a challenge on a whiteboard and spoke about other possible solutions. I also had a screener interview by phone a few days earlier.
The phone screen person texted me late at night (after 10 PM) on a weekday and called a few minutes after I responded. This seems pretty unprofessional, but he's an HR person, so I don't really hold the company responsible.
