Process

The interviews were okay. A live-coding session and a system design interview. However, the communication process with the recruiting team was terrible.

  • I set up a call with a recruiter for a phone screen, but they never called. It took weeks of emailing for a follow-up to finally hear back.
  • Before the final round, I was told that I'll first have a chat with a recruiter who will provide background on the final interview round and what to expect. I had to email the recruiter multiple times before hearing back to set this up. In the end, she set up a last-minute call the same day the final round was scheduled for, not giving me any time to prepare.
  • After the final round, I never heard back from anyone.

Overall, the process was unnecessarily stressful because of the extremely poor communication with the recruiting team.
