Having TikTok on your CV is good, especially as your first job. However, you need to be careful here! The platform's reputation for low-level management and interpersonal skills raises concerns among potential employers.
I had managers who asked very specific questions regarding my current role at TikTok, and then I always got rejected. This is a common situation among other people as well.
Toxic, unprofessional management.
Very poor leadership skills.
Very rude and low-level people.
You get a bonus only if you are the TL's best friend!
No work/life balance.
Very low salary.
Performance reviews are ridiculous.
People are from very poor backgrounds.
Your bad TLs destroyed the whole company!
