Cons: There is very little job growth; it's easy to get stuck.

Cons: - Low salary - Few additional benefits

Pros: 1. Many freedoms in development: tool selection, programming language, host. Some decisions are made with the team, some are decided individually, but a senior manager never comes and tells you how the task is to be done. 2. Very good further training opportunities: * Company internal library * Online learning platforms like Pluralsight * Conference visits * Internal and external training 3. Truly flexible working hours. Coordination only within the team. 4. Excellent in-house canteen. 5. Nice colleagues from all over the world (the environment is very international). 6. Free drinks, fruit, muesli, and coffee for everyone.

Cons: Haven't seen many of those so far. - Some colleagues overestimate the importance of the events and think trivago is the only good employer at all. That's slightly annoying, but doesn't get out of hand. - No possibility to get a company car or company bike (I had gotten used to that at my previous employer). Generally, the advantages heavily outweigh the disadvantages in my eyes.
