Pros

Good salary range and good insurance.

Cons

Next to no work-life balance, except to work 50-60 hours a week with no overtime. TSMC is about obedience. If you are good at being told what to do with little to no actual thought going into your job, TSMC is perfect for you. If you want to perform real engineering projects, TSMC is not a good fit.

Be prepared to work there for years to prove you are loyal to the company before they give you any real work. The training program in Taiwan is non-existent. You will just show up to work and be asked to sit there for 10 hours and then be pressured by your bosses to accomplish tasks that they will never train you how to do.

It is a very frustrating work environment where all the departments are fending for themselves and trying to blame others for problems or mistakes. Overall, TSMC is a very poorly run company that takes little to no responsibility for its actions and overworks its employees.
