I submitted my CV and, after a month, received an email from HR about the first interview round with one of the managers.
The interview was 30 minutes long and very general, covering a bit about the company, team, position, and my experience.
The next stage for me was to complete a test assessment, which involved creating a project plan for a startup. This plan needed to cover areas such as HR, architecture, processes, budget, MVP feature set definition, and more. I was given a week to prepare and submit this plan.
I completed the test assessment and waited for the results. Each week, I received an email with an excuse stating they were too busy to even review my test assessment. After a month, I received a message that another candidate had accepted an offer.
It appears they may have started the interview process with a preferred candidate already, and my time investment was solely to create the appearance of an HR selection process.
