Good environment, bad leadership
- People are really nice to work with.
- Good salary and perks (including learning budget and unlimited holidays).
- There isn't much pressure and a lot of flexibility.
- Leadership does not have a clear vision, with too many changes in the leadership team in the last couple of years (with a lot of rotation in VPs, C-levels, and Managers).
- Company communication is a mess and contradictory. They don't have a lot of empathy when dealing with employees.
- Technically speaking, it is not a top-notch project, although some people think it is.
- Some employees think they own the projects and parts of the company, creating a toxic environment (although they are leaving due to differences with leadership).
- Product-wise, it is one of the companies with more deficiencies when it comes to roadmap and vision. A lot of product decisions are taken by the technical team.
- The product team does not have data expertise.
- A lot of discoordination across all teams at all levels (product/engineering teams adding features without communicating, requesting to track it the day before; marketing and customer success teams overlapping responsibilities and taking decisions without communication; teams requesting data to Data Platform without providing any requirements and not using it later when served).
