I participated in 3 stages out of a total of 5.
The first stage was a code challenge with 2 questions, focused on strings and arrays.
The second stage was a chat with HR, focusing on my previous experiences and some simple technical open questions.
The third stage was a pair programming challenge.
The fourth and fifth stages were supposed to be another pair programming challenge and then a system design.
Questions
Implement a system that, given an m x n grid, allows you to:
- Create restaurants at [x,y].
- Return the number of restaurants at [x,y].
- Return the number of delivery zones. A delivery zone is an area where there are restaurants beside each other (up, down, left, right).

Pros: Excellent company and benefits. Overall, the benefits are on par with companies in the same industry.
Every month, employees receive a credit amount for Uber, which can be used for grocery shopping.
Cons: Unfortunately, the quality area is quite neglected in terms of recognition, given that other customer service areas have the same ranking within the company, such as S2. These areas only have the obligation of customer service, whereas we in quality have many requirements, including sending results reports, monitoring metrics with operations, sending insights to stakeholders, stakeholder management, and BPOs. We have BPOs below us who depend on our work and our assistance. English is required. Despite the large management being from Mexico, Spanish is not highly considered. Given all these things, we earn the same as the customer service staff.

Pros: Uber has a very collaborative environment, and it really makes you feel like you belong to something very big. The impact we have on the lives of millions of people every day becomes very tangible in our work.
In addition, it has a good benefits package that includes Stock Options, annual Bonus, and Uber credits to use monthly.
Cons: The only negative point I've seen to date has nothing to do with the company, but rather with people's perception of Uber. Walking around with an Uber shirt or backpack can be complicated.
Otherwise, it's an excellent company to work for.

Pros: All the managers I know really care about the employees. They all try their best to ensure a good work-life balance.
Compensation well above average for Brazil.
The equipment is very good, no old equipment.
Cons: For now, we still don't have an office. Just a temporary one, and therefore we have to keep reserving space to be able to come to the office. But this should be resolved by the end of the year, perhaps in the first quarter of 2024.
