The corporate intranet is comprehensive. The company genuinely seems to care about employee career development. Security is tight, as it has to be for a networking company. Other employees seem generally happy to be there.
Pays well, good bonuses. Good health benefits.
I worked in an experimental tech division that was never really fully absorbed by Verizon at large. We had a separate domain for our Devops services.
Ultimately, the department was cut when it wasn't found to be profitable. So, maybe they needed to find a way for our work to make money.
Find a way for 5G networked graphics tech to make money. In all other practical matters, you are doing great.
