Cons: 1. A rise in pandemic demand that led to uncharacteristically strong performance and increased headcount is now slowing. 2. Chronic shiny object syndrome. 3. Increasing turnover, often due to lack of professional growth. 4. Decreasing employee engagement and morale. 5. Unusual reporting and team structures. 6. Less than competitive compensation. 7. Lack of focus on operational efficiency. 8. Functional leaders/VPs rarely collaborate. 9. Some in positions to lead people focus on driving initiatives and expanding influence instead. 10. Acquisitions go unintegrated. 11. Beyond large meetings, key leaders go unseen by most.

Pros: The company has undergone a significant transformation under the new CEO, who has brought a disciplined approach to leadership. By narrowing the focus, and more importantly (and difficult to do) staying the path, we're already seeing measurable success. This has created a sense of stability that was previously lacking, giving most employees more confidence in the company’s direction. Work-life balance is another major strength, with the wholehearted adoption of a hybrid work model. This flexibility allows employees to manage their work and life responsibilities with autonomy, a huge plus in today's work environment.

Cons: Upward mobility has not always been clear, leaving some uncertainty about career progression within the company. However, at the moment, this challenge is being actively addressed by a newly dedicated team focused on improving clarity around internal growth opportunities and more. While only time will tell how effective these efforts will be, the disciplined principles introduced by the CEO suggest that we should see this challenge soon disappear.

Pros: Autonomy and thrust. No corporate overlords and micromanagers. If there are any, they are doing a good job of hiding, because I've yet to see them. Because of this cultural paradigm, work/life balance is 100. You chose it. People here are really amazing to work with and learn from. Thus, we are constantly building, experimenting, rebuilding, all with one mission: Make the products great.

Cons: It would be nice if we had more wholesome, healthy snacks. Maybe one or two more would be good.
