Pros

Honestly, I struggled to find any positive aspects in this environment.

Cons

My experience at Visa has been overwhelmingly negative due to the extremely high stress and toxic work environment.

Leadership often lacks managerial capability, and people in charge may not have the skills or experience to lead effectively.

Mistakes, often caused by systemic issues or unclear directions, are blamed on employees rather than addressed at the source.

The team culture can be dismissive of questions or concerns, leaving QA professionals without proper guidance or support.

Even when unwell, employees may be expected to work or present, and psychological pressure is common.

Many managers operate with a “boss-first” mentality rather than genuine leadership, continuing outdated hierarchical practices that create tension and unfair dynamics.

Cons:

  • Excessive stress and psychological pressure
  • Poor leadership and lack of support
  • Blame-focused culture rather than problem-solving
  • Expectation to work while sick or under pressure
