Excellent set of people. The work is great.

There's no empathy towards employees to help them during difficult times like COVID. The condition in the company is literally either you choose work or family. There is no support for employees who are stuck outside.
While other companies in Singapore are doing their best to help retain their employees and assist them in balancing personal and professional life in all ways, Visa seems to have turned their back on employee problems during this COVID period. They have basically left no choice for their foreign employees but to leave and permanently go back to their home countries.
The HR policies are too stubborn and are only adding to the difficulties during such times due to their stubbornness to change. The immigration partner firm is doing a miserable job in Singapore, failing to help stranded employees get back. On top of that, they are charging a hefty amount for a service which is absolutely free.
It has been one and a half years into the pandemic, and it may last for a long time. If this is the support that foreign employees receive at this time, I think it is time to rethink the relationship with Visa.
Visa has always been one of the great companies to work for. At times like COVID, where everyone is going through a lot, you should keep up to your standard.
Rather than turning a deaf ear to the complaints of so many helpless employees, you should try to help them within the boundaries of the legal obligations of the countries.
The employees look up to the management to help them in this difficult time, and I am sure many employees' feelings would resonate with what I am saying.
I just hope the company does something for these employees before we are left with no choice but to leave Visa.
