I cleared the first two rounds: coding and programming.
Then, I interviewed for the design round. The interviewer was in a hurry and did not let me explain my design.
I was explaining the high-level design by drawing blocks and describing how we could use the system in a distributed application. However, he interrupted me frequently and did not let me complete my explanation.
I also explained an in-memory approach. Despite this, he seemed to have made up his mind not to continue the interview.
My request to the interviewers is that this is not the correct way to conduct an interview. If your position is already filled, please let the candidate know beforehand and avoid destroying their morale.
There could be a situation where you are on the other side, and the same can happen to you as well.
