Pros: I love working here and the people are great. I get to see the CEO walk around, and they actually speak to other team members and people. I also referred a friend, and they are loving it. They prefer Wayfair to their last company.

Cons: I would say that there is none.

Pros: Good people in some departments. Recruiting is good at getting folks to pull down negatives. Most positives are from managers, surprise!

Cons: Bad, toxic people in most areas. Most areas of the business are looking to stab each other in the back to get to L5+. Good engineers are bailing at an alarming rate. Can't retain good talent because of the BS and politics. Want to be a tech company so bad, they even say we are a tech company that sells. So many homegrown tools that are just bad, and no one wants to move away from broken tools. The organization is designed to burn out engineers and replace them with juniors they teach. Not in a good way.

Pros: Laid-back atmosphere to learn and have fun. You meet a lot of interesting people. Good job to get some experience and have a big company on your resume. Good for vacation time and good benefits. Overall, if you don't take your career that seriously, Wayfair is a great option for 2-3 years, max.

Cons: If you do take your career seriously, then Wayfair becomes a very hit-or-miss type of place to work. Wayfair is notorious for hiring unqualified "yes men" in middle management who always miss the mark when it comes to delivering on department objectives. Promotions are purely based on likeability and not performance. Also, pay is not on par with the rest of the Boston area.
