Front End Developer Interview Experience

Process

An in-house recruiter found me and contacted me via LinkedIn. We then set up a phone screening interview, which went very well. The recruiter was professional throughout.

The next step he proposed was a live technical interview with a development manager, contingent on resume approval and their interest.

I received an email stating they wanted to move forward and asked for my availability. I replied with my schedule.

After two days without a confirmation, I received another email. The original recruiter, now cc'ing a new recruiter, informed me he was leaving the company and that she would handle my process.

However, the new recruiter never contacted me, and I never heard back from them at all.

After reading other reviews, I wasn't surprised and lost interest in pursuing any opportunities with Wayfair.

Questions

A few basic questions from a recruiter:

  • CSS display: none compared to hidden?
  • What are elements in the box model?
  • How to declare and create a new object?
  • What is hoisting?
