I was referred through an employee. The position as posted on LinkedIn showed that it was an entry-level position.
I received a call from the recruiter to go over the role and company and to know more about my background. The recruiter was extremely cold and unfriendly and asked questions like, "How big of a database have you worked on?" and "Do you know ORM?"
At the end, they stated that the role was more of a senior-level position (5-7 years of experience).
I did not receive any communication after the call and received a generic rejection email on a Sunday morning.
Please give candidates a chance to talk to a technical person before rejecting them based on programming language, technologies, number of years of experience, etc.
Database size I have worked with?
Have I worked with ORM?
