Pros

Benefits and coworkers that I had.

Cons
  • Awful leadership! Unqualified and oblivious local management.

  • Disconnected and incapable senior management.

  • A once great culture has been destroyed by micromanagement and unprofessional individuals who have no leadership ability.

  • Holding meetings about other meetings, with no real accountability or professionalism.

  • No career development or sense of advancement. You do not feel valued as a contributor in the engineering org. Operations employees have more bonus potential and perks than the rest of Wayfair.

  • Pay has fallen behind the standard market value.

Advice to Management

Find what made Wayfair progressive and a fun place to work in the past.

Get out of physical retail and invest in your employees rather than waste money and have to continue to have layoffs.

Actually read voice surveys and try to make improvements, or just continue to watch the stock price drop and have to sell to Amazon for pennies on the dollar.
