I applied online, and the recruiter got back with me quickly.
We scheduled the first screen, and it went fine. I actually enjoyed our conversation.
I was told to do a take-home project, which I spent some of my weekend doing. I submitted the take-home first thing the next week. The recruiter initially responded by setting up an interview for later that week.
A day later, I was told the position was canceled, the interview was canceled, and they would save my resume when the position opened again.
