The interview process was very smooth. I spoke with a Senior Software Engineer who was very kind and casual.
We did a screen-sharing programming test that was very OOP-based. I could easily ask questions, and the interviewer was very helpful. After I completed the task, they asked me about performance optimization.

Pros: Good pay.
Good perks.
Good location.
Cons: Toxic culture.
Disregard for the "Education" part of "Cooperative Education" (I received very little guidance from my mentor).
Poor onboarding process.
HR has a flawed placement process, which results in some interns being placed on the wrong teams with no ability to move to a better fit.

Pros: Team was pretty lenient. Expectations were not set high and were reasonable for a new intern like me. Solid pay.
Cons: Lots of unnecessary information was given or forced onto us by talent management. Orientation was boring; engineers and HR reps shouldn't be in the same orientation.
