HR contacted me via LinkedIn. I had a call with HR, who sounded disinterested and spoke too fast to keep up, as if reading from a script. We then moved forward to Karat video interviews.
I scheduled a video interview and was assigned an interviewer, which changed on the day of the interview. The video interview featured lengthy questions, with most of the time spent by the interviewer reading them aloud. I had two minutes per question to answer. The coding task was a LeetCode easy-medium problem with a follow-up. I coded both. I never received feedback. I did receive a survey for the interview experience, which offered coupons for their own website upon completion. Wow!!
Overall, it felt like a waste of time. Additionally, the disinterested HR didn't even know when my Karat interview had occurred.
SD questions and coding (LC easy-medium). Karat interviewing system lagged multiple times during the interview process. It felt like giving an interview to a robot.
