Process
The process began with a brief phone screen, including typical questions about why Wayfair, background, and so on.
Next, a 24-hour online assignment was administered. This also involved submitting a code sample with a brief, non-technical description.
Following that was an hour-long technical interview conducted over the phone. This consisted of discussing past projects, determining the output of PHP code, and answering a few array-based questions. The PHP questions were designed for individuals with no prior PHP experience. I was permitted to ask the interviewer any questions I had.
Finally, a 30-minute behavioral phone interview took place, covering typical questions about conflict resolution, teamwork, and similar topics.
Responses were incredibly quick; I typically heard back within a day at most throughout the process.
Everyone involved was incredibly accommodating and helpful.
