Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

I did not make it past the coding challenge, but I wanted to leave a special review to describe how obnoxious it was. There were two or three brain teaser-ish questions, and the third one I just found absolutely absurd. I cannot even remember the question, but I have done at least 15 coding challenges for 15 different companies in the past month, and this was by far the most painful and annoying.

It just irritates me that I didn't even get a chance to show my skills to a real person because I couldn't complete the timed brain teaser they chose. I understand the premise of coding challenges, but at least make them more similar to what you actually do in university and in industry.

Other companies had difficult timed coding challenges, but I did not mind them as much because they were more relevant to industry and university. A waste of my time.
