Pros: At Wayve, I'm surrounded by the most consistently technically exceptional group of individuals that I've ever met. There is so much under one roof, from robotics, to platform engineering, to 3D simulation, and to deep learning; there's always an enlightening conversation to be had at the communal lunches. I don't think there's anywhere of which I could grow more as an engineer than Wayve. The passion exhibited by everyone at the company is infectious. The culture is overwhelmingly positive, welcoming, and fun; you’d be hard pressed to find a better work environment.

Cons: Most find themselves at the office for longer than your typical 8h work day. If a clock in - clock out 9-5 is what you're after, Wayve probably isn't the right fit for you. As with most startups, things move fast and structure can be lacking. No refined sugars.

Pros: I love the fact that you can move around the company if there is a skillset match and you are surrounded by a lot of people who teach you.

Cons: Think skin, as there are a lot of smart people.

Pros: Wayve is probably one of the few autonomous companies doing things differently. Our embodied intelligence stands out. This means we are working on really cool and innovative projects which keeps one fulfilled from a sense of learning.

Cons: Salaries and career progression are extremely unclear. It seems very arbitrary and random. It is understandable that everything can't be fully transparent, but some visibility into things is ideal. I fear that it's getting worse over time.
